Dates are considered as sexual strengthener as it contains
phosphorus. (7) Dates enhance visual acuity and maintain eye coolness as
they contain vitamin (A) which combats night blindness. (8) Dates
strengthen the hearing neurons and are good for elderly people. (9) Dates have a neurotic calming
effect due to their content of vitamin (A), and vitamin (B-1). They limit the
secretion of the thyroid gland and also contain phosphorus which is considered
an important nutrient for nerve cells of the brain.. (10) Dates are
considered a treatment for liver, jaundice, pellagra, skin dryness, nail
breaking as they contain vitamin (B). (11) Dates can be used as remedy
for constipation as they contain cellulose fibers that helps good motility of intestines. Other medicinal drugs may irritate and
destroy the mucus membrane of large intestines causing colitis. (12)
dates neutralize the stomach acidity as they are rich in alkaline salts such as
calcium and potassium. (13) Alkaline salts neutralize the blood acidity
resulting from ingestion of starches like rice and bread. Such acidity may cause
some hereditary diseases like colicystitis, kidney stones and hypertension.
Dates are beneficial for the mother and the infant during post delivery period
as they give alarm for uterine motility and increases the period of contraction
of the uterus after delivery, the matter which is important for forming breast
feeding milk. They also compensate the mother as they provide iron, calcium and
vitamin (A). These things are important for growth of the infant, formation of

Dates are

dates are considered the richest fruit of this acid that plays big role in the
biological processes in the human body. 4- Fibers: Dates have high
